Pinke is a small, privacy-minded tool that turns bank statements into a spending picture with categories, tags, trends, and reports. It’s rule-based, so classifications are predictable, transparent, and easy to adjust.
It started as the practical thing: one spreadsheet to get a yearly overview. Exports from a couple of accounts went in, categories went on, and the numbers finally made sense. For a while.
Then life kept changing, more accounts, kids, school stuff, hobbies, subscriptions, price jumps and the spreadsheet turned into a recurring cleanup job: re-sorting, re-labeling, re-checking, and stilllacking quick answers to “what changed?”, “what is it in total?”, and “where is the money flowing?”. Pinke is meant to keep the clarity, without the spreadsheet maintenance.
Today Pinke is the tool I wanted back then: upload statements, get a clean overview, fix the few odd transactions, and generate a report. I run it on my own data to answer practical questions, like what we paid in rent and housing costs over the year, what happens in fixed vs. daily life, and what changed, and how much this tiny amount sometimes is in total.
If you have ideas for improvements, uses cases, or nicer visuals, reports, tell me. Pinke started as “I need this” and turned into “maybe others do too”.

Your data is not sold. It may be processed by service providers acting on my behalf (typically hosting/infrastructure and email for support) only to operate Pinke.
Uploads and analyses are stored until you delete them or delete your account. Logs are kept only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting, then rotated. Backups may retain deleted data briefly until overwritten.
